There were many positive reviews about the machine's user-friendliness and the quality of the coffee. The BCC02 is a great all-rounder. It's quiet and efficient, and it offers great value for money at a price that is currently PS499. The only issue is the fact that it doesn't offer the same level of customisation like some of the other bean to cups we've tried. It has a pump that has 15 bars instead of the usual 19 bars. 2. Melitta Barista TS Smart
The Barista TS Smart comes with a variety of features that differentiate it from other models. Its most unique feature is probably the fact that it can be controlled from your smartphone using the Melitta Connect app. This lets you alter the settings and then dispense different coffee recipes stored in the machine.
This makes the machine extremely flexible and able to adapt to your preferences. There are a variety of options to change the intensity of your beverage, cup sizes and even whether you'd like milk to be added. The machine is equipped with two airtight bottles of fresh beans coffee machine that are automatically chosen to match different types of drinks. It defaults to standard espresso beans in one and cafe creme (a German variation of long black or flat white) in the other however, you can select any beans you'd like. Users have also reported being impressed with the speed of the machine. It is more efficient than other machine they've used. Another bonus is that the machine will notify you when one of its hoppers is about to be empty, ensuring that you do not get caught running out of your favourite drink.
The price could be a problem for certain. The machine is priced at PS999. It's still cheaper than similar Jura machines with the same number features.
